The first appointment I set up didn't work out. The crew was at a work site before my appointment and called to tell me they would be considerably late because they had run into some problems. So I set up another appointment for the next week and they arrived a little early and got right to work. Two men came and cleaned the air ducts in the basement of my 50-year-old ranch. As part of the work they cleaned all of the air returns and the heating vents. They also checked my furnace to be sure it was clean. They were very polite and stayed on task. They finished in about 3 hours.

Comments:

I am very satisfied with the work. The two men were very efficient, with one in the basement and one in the main level. They were very good about being careful when they brought in their equipment and cleaned up both on the main level and in the basement. When they were finished, they showed me the filtration system they used and there was enough dog hair in it to make about 4 dogs. It was almost embarrassing, but now I know why I had so much dust in my house. I was dusting the wood furniture about twice a week. Since they cleaned it, I have only dusted once in about ten days.

We have a 100+ year old house that can be rather complicated, especially since the second furnace is in a small space in the attic and you have to climb on top of the shower to even get to it. They came out to give us an estimate and when the staff came to do the cleaning they were professional and friendly and did a great job.

The staff at Quality Air Controllers arrived on time and ready to work. They were polite and professional. The owner of the company, I believe his name is Joe, impressed me as being professional and honest. I felt good about hiring this company.

Comments:

The job went well. When I called the company a few days after the work was completed, I explained that I still had what I considered an inordinate amount of dirty gritty dust. Joe didn't hesitate for a minute. He set another appointment at my convenience to redo the cleaning of the air ducts. He did not charge me anything for the additional cleaning.

They cleaned the air ducts of my condo heating/cooling system. The team came in and was very careful with their equipment. The crew was very personable, explained everything that they were doing and cleaned my system in about 2 hours....Very easy, completely painless and did not create any kind of mess at all.

Comments:

Overall it went great. Joe came out the week prior and assessed my condo to make sure they could do it and came back with a date when the crew could come out. The crew called about 10 minutes before they were going to arrive (in the time window of when Joe had said they would be there) and they quickly went into gear and got everything setup and working.

I have used this company before, and this time, as always, I was very pleased with the work that was performed. They were 5 minutes late but called ahead to let me know. They worked fast, but very efficiently. The two young men were very pleasant, respectful, and informative. One worker (Mark) has been with the company for a number of years, and it was good to see him again - I knew he would provide me with excellent service. Don and Evan came out and clean all duct work in house and clean the A.C coil.

Comments:

Don gave me a call about a half-hour prior to showing up for the job and said they were on their way. When they show up Don explained to me what they where going to do. They removed all vent covers and returns and vacuumed out ducts. Went through the basement to clean out all ductwork up to first and second floor. The ducts were dirty 25 years since cleaned last. The ducts came out clean and I could not believe how dirty they where. Don and Evan wore shoe covers to keep the white carpet clean. They vacuumed the carpets in front of vents to pick up any dirt that may have fallen. Don and Evan did a great job. The house was spotless when they left.

They cleaned all of the duct work and removed a deceased hamster.

Comments:

They were amazing. This is the busy time, but worked to creatively find ways to help us. My son's beloved hamster died in the vent. The smell was horrible. I had numerous conversations with the owner, who went out of his way to help us since they had no openings for 3 weeks. However, he felt confident that someone would cancel and they could fit us in. Indeed, in 3 business days they were here taking care of everything. The two men who arrived were professional, respectful and very sensitive to the unique situation. My children were present, but unaware that it was the hamster that was causing the smell. The men understood this and were soooo kind to my kids. They did the job without complaint and only charged us an extra $10 for sanitizing. I couldn't have been more pleased. The owner even called the men several times wanting to know if they had been successful in retrieving the body. I highly recommend this company.

I had a musty smell in my home, and recently the air ducts were cleaned by a carpet cleaning company. I wasn’t sure if I would be satisfied with the job when I saw the technician simply feeding the carpet cleaning vacuum hose down each register. This process only took him one hour, I was charged over $300 dollars, and the house still had that musty odor. It was apparent that I needed to have this taken care of by someone that specializes in air duct cleaning. Air Quality Controllers had two technicians come over and they spent four hours at my house. I was very impressed with the equipment that they used, how thorough the technicians were, and they explained every step of the process to me as they were doing the work. The musty odor is gone, the upstairs stays cooler when I use the air conditioning, and the airflow has increased. I am very satisfied with the work that Air Quality Controllers performed.
